We sort through every room, price and list what has value, coordinate donations and junk removal, and hand you back the keys when the home is clear. Because items sell from the home, you or a representative stays involved in the final handoffs, and for a larger estate we can bring in a trusted dealer to take bigger lots at once.

How an estate clear-out works
Initial walkthrough
We tour the home with you to assess scope and timeline. Out-of-town families can coordinate remotely with photos and video calls.
Custom plan
You receive a clear scope of work and pricing. We outline what will be sorted, sold, donated, and removed.
Sort and identify
We go room by room, flagging heirlooms, valuables, and items family members may want. Nothing leaves without approval.
Sell, donate, and clear
We price and list what has value, usually on local marketplaces, and manage the inquiries. For a larger estate, we can bring in a trusted dealer to buy bigger lots at once. Usable items go to local charities, and junk removal handles the rest.
Clean handoff
The home is cleared and ready for its next chapter. Keys are returned to you or your realtor.
Common questions
How long does an estate clear-out take?
It depends on the size of the home and the volume of belongings. A smaller home might take 2-3 days. A larger, fully furnished home may take 1-2 weeks.
Do family members need to be present?
For the sorting, donations, and clear-out, no. Many families are out of town, and we coordinate remotely with photos and video calls for key decisions. The one exception is resale: because items sell from the home, you or a local representative needs to be available to hand items to buyers and take payment. For a larger estate, we can bring in a trusted dealer to take bigger lots at once, which keeps that to a minimum.
What happens to items no one wants?
Anything with resale value gets priced and listed for sale. Usable items are donated to local charities. Everything else is removed by our junk removal partner.
Can you help if we are also selling the home?
Yes. We often coordinate with realtors and can time the clear-out around listing schedules and showing dates.
